We are very grateful to the 21 Ohio State University Students who braved the near 100 degree heat on August 27 to volunteer through the Pay It Forward program! Volunteers weeded, watered, and picked up litter to help with maintenance of the garden grounds. With the help of the students we were also able to plant plenty of fall veggies like collards, kale, broccoli, cauliflower, rainbow chard, beets, and radishes. The group’s hard work will hopefully pay off for City Farm’s upcoming Harvest Festival! Volunteers are an indispensable resource for City Farm so we thank OSU for organizing such a wonderful initiative.
