Thank you Earth Day Volunteers!

Special thanks to all the volunteers that came out this past weekend to volunteer - it was a hugely sucessful event!

Welcome to Spring

It's time to plant.  The birds are in the air and the worms down below. Just waiting for the wholesomeness of life so they can pass the blessing of life on to you.  Please drop us a line and sign up for a plot.  Karen G

We've prepared over 100 flats of all kinds of transplants for planting in May.  We need any compost that we can get.  And will be gathering every Saturday either at the Church or New Fredom garden.  Bring lunch and make it a potluck gathering every week.

It's official. The end of the year is rapidly approaching and we need to rehash what happened in 2008. This meeting will occur on Sunday, November 23 at 6:00 at Old First Presbyterian Church. Here are some sample questions to get the ball rolling. Our discussion does not have to be limited to these questions.

Volunteers Needed on this Saturday

We need people to come this Saturday November  21st to the Old First Presbyterian Church (1101 Bryden Rd) at 9:30am.

We will be spreading compost on the garden beds.

An invitation to all volunteers to join us this Saturday from 1:00pm to 6:00pm at the Four Seasons City Farm Freedom Festival: A Harvest Celebration. The festival will take place at the Garden of New Freedom, located at the intersection of Mound and Carpenter.

Gardening Cookout and Harvest Festival Planning

Dear Friends of Four Seasons City Farm (4SCF), This Wednesday evening, we are in need of volunteer help at the North Linwood Garden, 148 Linwood Avenue.

There will be a cookout there, starting at 5:30 p.m., and we will do some gardening and also some planning for the October Harvest Festival. Stop by and get acquainted with Four Seasons City Farm volunteers, have a vegeburger or hamburger, and get your hands a little dirty! It will be fun!

Thanks, Karen. 4SCF Record Keeper
